We are Israel's first and only national-level organization dedicated to shaping the strategy and policy that connect our technology sector to our long-term security and global standing. By fusing technology with statecraft, we build and sustain Israel's Qualitative Technological Edge (QTE).
This is about more than just a strong economy or a strong military. It's about creating a new, durable form of national power that will secure our future. We shape the policies and strategies that embed technology into the core of our national security.
The Challenge
Transforming Israel's success into strategic power
Israel is a global technology powerhouse. Its innovation ecosystem is among the main engines of its economy and a source of national pride.
At the same time, Israel's success has created a new, critical challenge: a gap between its commercial triumphs and their integration into the country's national strategy. While Israel has world-class assets, it has not capitalized on them by creating the coherent, top-down framework needed to fuse them into a unified instrument of national power that could enhance Israel's geopolitical standing and serve as a barrier against the spread of economic and cultural pressures.
Without this required bridge, Israel risks its technological edge by remaining a collection of brilliant but disconnected ventures, rather than a decisive strategic advantage that can be leveraged globally.
The New Reality
The nature of power has changed.
20th-century power was defined by industrial might and the control of natural resources. The current conflict is being fought primarily with silicon, software, and AI. Technological dominance is the new foundation for economic resilience, diplomatic influence, and national security.
